Born of Cherry Belle

Cherry Belle consists with nine young girl. Catz Records is the management that created this group. They auditioned hundreds girl with three steps. The management used voice, look, dance, attitude, motivation and spirit as criteria. They picked 15-18 girls and trained them with vocal and dance. After three months, December 2010 until February 2011, They selected 9 girls. Cherry Belle was defined on 27 February 2011 as a group. Cherry Belle is new phenomenon in the Indonesia music industry. Korean wave felt so tight from 2009. It was changed the band condition. They don't use the traditional way with full instrument. This girl band uses almost same appearance. They sing and dance.

Cherry Belle debuted with first single by title Dilema. The song is featured at their mini album. Genre of this song is sweet pop mid tempo. The song is easy listening, easily memorized and really fit with their lovely and cute dance.

In April 12, 2012. Shocking news from them. In middle of their popularity, 2 members must go from this girl band, they are Wenda and Devi. Management told the reason in the press conference, "Wenda and devi was growing up, so not quite fit with the concept of Cherry Belle. So there is no conflict." They did not explain clearly what happened in this group. If you've seen their film, Wenda said "let's promise will always be friends, even though we are not together forever". It comes true, hiks, hiks. The management will add the empty spot with new audition for new chibi.

Cherry Belle and Chibi Meaning


Cherry Belle is combination name. Cherry is sweet, Belle is beautiful. This can be summed up as a sweet and beautiful girl. The girls are, Cherly, Angel, Wenda, Ryn, Christy, Felly, Devi, Gigi and Anisa.

The members are called with Chibi. If you are manga lover, you will be familiar with this name. Chibi means little. It is considered with the member's height. The average of height is around 158 cm. South East Asia girls have that height commonly.

             Twibi and Twiboyz | Cherry Belle Anti Fans


Twibi is designation and name of Cherry Belle fans. Twibi is for girl and Twiboyz for boy. The name was released at early June 2011. They have huge fans all around Indonesia. There are many meaning for Twibi. First, Twin Chibi, fans are like the Chibi. Second, Twister Chibi, fans are strong like twister. They want to be a strong fans.

Cherry Belle receive many scorn, anti fans, controversy and hater. Because they are similar with Korean group, SNSD. The management always remember them to have an attitude. They are not arrogant and always humble to all.
